- MATH9A-9B
- PHYS2A, 2B, 2C; PHYS2LA, 2lB, 2LC
- ONE FROM: STAT100A, STAT105, or STAT120A
- ONE FROM: BCH 100 or BCH 110A

Additionally, you are required to complete any course-specific pre-requisites.
Biological Sciences are sub-divided into the following seven tracks:
- Biology
- Cell Biology
- Conservation Biology
- Evolution and Ecology
- Entomology
- Environmental Toxicology
- Microbiology
- Plant Biology
Primary Concentration: BIOL102 and in consultation with a IDST advisor, 6 additional upper-division courses selected from courses in the catalog under the track you select.
Secondary Concentration: BIOL102 and in consultation with a LBST advisor, three (3) additional upper-division courses selected from courses listed in the catalog under the track you select.
Recommended for Health Professions (medical, dental, veterinary, osteopathic, podiatry, optometry, and pharmacy): BIOL121A, 121L, 121B, 157, 161A, 161B, 167, 171.
